Rear Extension, Sudbury, Suffolk
The existing property featured a small dark kitchen which was in need of modernisation. The connection to the rear garden both visually and physically was fairly limited and we were tasked with providing a solution to these problems, whilst also offering more storage and working space.
We improved both, adding a large bi-fold door, and velux windows which channel light into the opened up internal spaces.
A small extension was added to the existing property to allow for an enlarged and open plan kitchen dining space.
Externally, we provided a palette of materials inkeeping with the existing property, using Suffolk white brick and matching slate to provide a complimentary and sympathetic aesthetic.
White worktops help to reflect the day light, offering a cleaner and more appealing living environment. Although small in scale, the extension has provided enormous benefits to the young family.
